About Pizzolato Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore

Pizzolato Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore is an organic prosecco made by La Cantina Pizzolato in Veneto (Italy) with the Glera variety.

The La Cantina Pizzolato family winery, run by the current owner Settimo Pizzolato, has a long family history dating back five generations. Located in northern Italy, in Treviso, the team is dedicated to making quality sparkling wines using the principles of organic farming on a leafy estate where vines, plants and animals happily share their space.

Pizzolato Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore comes from 5 hectares of vines located in the San Pietro di Feletto valley. Since 1991, these vines have been cultivated using sustainable and organic agriculture, which allows the wine to showcase the authenticity of a unique area. The harvest is carried out manually at the optimum point of ripeness.

In the winery, the Pizzolato Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore grapes and the resulting must are left to rest. Then alcoholic fermentation begins with selected yeasts at a controlled temperature of approximately 14ºC in stainless steel tanks. Then a second fermentation takes place in sealed tanks for 30 days. Finally it is bottled and released for sale.

Pizzolato Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore is a magnificent sparkling wine made using the Italian charmat method. A fresh, elegant and completely organic prosseco.
