About Viña Bujanda Crianza

Viña Bujanda Crianza comes from different vineyards planted in the Rioja Alta and the Rioja Alavesa. It's a Tempranillo single-varietal, a variety native to the Q.D.O. Rioja.

Once the grapes arrive in the winery they are selected, destemmed and put into stainless steel deposits, where the must macerates with the grape skins for two weeks. After the fermentation, the wine ages for 12 months in 225 litre barrels, 70% American oak and 30% French oak, before being bottled.

2020

Viña Bujanda Crianza 2020 exhibits an alluring purplish-red hue with bluish reflections. On the nose, it reveals aromas of blackberry and blueberry, complemented by spicy notes of clove and cinnamon from the American oak, along with a hint of blonde tobacco and subtle balsamic nuances. On the palate, it offers a broad, fresh, and silky entry, with good volume and structure. Its finish is long and pleasant, leaving an extraordinary aroma in the retronasal passage.

Viña Bujanda Crianza 2017 is a robust red wine boasting aromas of dark berries, hints of spice, and subtle balsamic notes. On the palate, it is expansive, vibrant, and silky. This is a full-bodied wine, well-structured with a prolonged and flavorful finish.
2009 This red wine shows broad, fruity attack and is silky from start to finish with a long, persistent finish. A vibrant, fleshy, voluminous and structured wine.

An intense ruby red colour. Dense tears show on the glass.

Aromas of forest fruits and black fruit with balsamic tones, followed by tertiary aromas such as cinnamon, clove, toasted notes... Elegant and fragrant.
