The family behind Monteraponi has masterfully preserved the essence of Tuscany: the estate spans 200 hectares sheltered from the wind, with ancient forests, olive groves, and vineyards adhering to certified organic methods. The winery, with its thick stone walls and old cement vats and elliptical-based conical cement vats, ensures spontaneous and natural fermentations, respecting the integrity of the sangiovese and canaiolo grapes, and conveying in every bottle the authentic character of Chianti Classico.

Monteraponi Chianti Classico is a red wine that marries elegance with power: fermented in cement tanks without added yeasts, matured in oval oak barrels for over 16 months, refined for a month in cement tanks and bottled without filtering or fining, it unveils aromas of ripe cherry, Mediterranean herbs, and subtle spicy notes, with a balanced, fresh palate and delicate tannins.
