Mano a Mano 2022 exhibits a deep cherry red hue with violet undertones. On the nose, it is distinguished by aromas of blackberries and ripe plums, with hints of cocoa, violets, and balsamic notes, set against a subtly smoky backdrop. On the palate, it is flavourful, fresh, and fruity, displaying a well-balanced profile. Its texture is fleshy, and it flows smoothly, culminating in a lingering, fruity finish that entices continued enjoyment. About Mano a Mano

Mano a Mano is a red wine from the V.T Castilla produced by the winery Mano a Mano. This wine is made using only Tempranillo grapes.

The grapes used for Mano a Mano come from vines that are over 40 years old, which grow on limestone, clay and sandy soils. The climate of the production area is receives mediterranean and continental influences. The yield per vine is usually very low, which results in the grapes having a better focus the characteristics of the soil.

The harvest and winemaking processes of Mano a Mano are carried out using traditional methods. The grapes undergo the winemaking process seperately depending on their origin until the final blending. The temperature at the wineries facilities is controlled at all times in order to aid the vinifaction process.

Finally before the final bottling, Mano a Mano ages for around 6 months in French and American oak barrels.    

The Mano a Mano winery has managed to become a benchmark for wines from Castilla-La Mancha. Under the guidance of Portuguese winemaker Joana Caldeira, the winery produces excellent wines every year from its 330 hectares of vineyards.

2016 Mano a Mano 2016 is a juicy, meaty and fresh red wine. In this vintage, its most fruity profile stands out. Intense aromas of ripe red fruit, with balsamic notes on an elegant toasted background. In the mouth, it is easy to drink, direct and quite long lasting.
2013 Crisp and robust in structure. Exceptionally flavourful with pronounced tannins, it reveals nuances of cocoa and coffee.
