About Acústic Blanc

Acústic Blanc is a white wine from the D.O Monstant produced by Celler Acústic. This wine is a blend of 4 different grape varieties: Garnacha Blanca (60%), Macabeo (25%), Garnacha Roja (10%)and the native Pansal (5%).

The grapes used to produce this wine are grown on vineyards at altitudes of 700 metres in the regions of Marçà and Cornudella de Montsant. The vineyards are home to stony soils and vines that are between 40 and 80 years old.

The harvest is carried out manually. At the winery, the grapes first undergo cold maceration which lasts for 2 days. Following this, they undergo a partial fermentation at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks, followed by another fermentation in French oak barrels for 3 months.

Acústic is a personal project of Albert Jané. With this wine, which has a red wine counterpart, the winery looks to re-establish the importance of traditional viticulture, while taking advantage of modern techniques.
