About Llàgrimes de Tardor Blanc

Llàgrimes de Tardor Blanc is a white wine produced by Cooperativa Sant Josep de Bot in the D.O Terra Alta.

The winery was founded more than half a century ago, located in the Bot (Tarragona).

Llàgrimes de Tardor Blanc is a monovarietal from Garnacha Blanca. The grape originates from old vines, on average 50 years old, situated on different estate with different soils and microclimates.

For production, the grape is destemmed and the grape is cold macerated for 20 hours to extract all the potential aromas.
After being macerated, the must is fermented in new French oak barrels.

Once finished, the wine is aged on its lees for 5 months with regular bâtonnages.

Lastly, Llàgrimes de Tardor Blanc is refined in the bottle by resting for a further 7 months.

2020

Llàgrimes de Tardor Blanc 2020 is an elegant and sophisticated white, boasting a pale golden hue. On the nose, it reveals a complex bouquet, with delicate aromas of ageing and fruity notes. The palate experiences a complexity that is both fresh and lingering.
2019

Llàgrimes de Tardor Blanc 2019 is a creamy white wine. The bouquet features prominent notes of sweet spices, white fruit, wild herbs, and withered flowers. On the palate, it is complex, velvety, and vibrant, with a lingering finish.
2016 Llàgrimes de Tardor Blanc 2016 is a mature white wine, with body and very varietal. This vintage shows all its fruity character over the toasted notes of its ageing. In the mouth, it is ample and very long.
2013 Very fruity, silky and fresh. The mid-palate is silky and velvety, with fine fruity sensations. Good acidity. Persistent finish.

Complex and aromatic, highlights of tropical fruits on a vegetal and floral base. Gentle mineral notes.
