About Di Capri Limoncello

In the early 20th century, Vincenza Canale, a hospitality pioneer in Capri and owner of the renowned guesthouse Mariantonia, began to popularise the consumption of "limonillo" among her guests. This liqueur, handcrafted with local lemons, evolved into what we now know as limoncello. The original recipe has remained unchanged to this day and continues to be the foundation for DiCapri Limoncello, using only Sorrento I.G.P. (Protected Geographical Indication) lemons, ensuring a product of superior quality.
