About Fernando de Castilla Antique Fino

Fernando de Castilla Antique Fino is a fortified wine produced by the Rey Fernando de Castilla winery in Jerez.

The winery is located in the centre ofJerez de la Frontera (Cádiz). It is a hundred years old, and in the last few years, it has started to produce young fortified wines as well as the Antique range, which are old wines from the winery’s antique vintages.

Fernando de Castilla Antique Fino is 100% produced from thePalomino Fino variety. After extracting the must, the wine is fortified at 15ºC and decanted into barrels in order to begin to develop a cap of ‘flor’ yeast. This wine ages in the dynamic system of Criaderas and Soleras where it will stay for a minimum of seven years,

Fernando de Castilla Antique Fino is a superb old fine wine with a full body in the mouth due to the long period of ageing.
