Pago del Vicario Petit Verdot Rosado 2023 is a rosé wine with intense aromas that fill the nose with notes of blackberries, menthol, liquorice, blue flowers, rockrose, cream, and pepper. On the palate, it is dense and fresh, thanks to its good acidity and balsamic and spicy character. It is luscious and meaty without being heavy, balancing sweetness and freshness. Its aftertaste reveals flavours of strawberry candy, cherries, and blood orange peel, offering a concentrated and complex experience.

About Pago del Vicario Petit Verdot Rosado

Pago del Vicario Petit Verdot is a rose wine prepared in Castilla by Pago del Vicario, a wine cellar with over 130 hectares of vineyards located about 9 km from Ciudad Real.

The climate in this area is influenced by the proximity of the river, characterized by mild temperatures and a large thermal contrast between day and night. This wine is a varietal Petit Verdot (100%) from their own farms. The vineyards are located 600 metres above sea level on the banks of the Guadiana River. The soils here are similar in texture and composition but of different types: loam and silt loam, slate, etc.
After the vintage is selected, the stripping of the grapes is performed. As for the wine, it undergoes maceration for a minimum of eight hours and then passes into steel tanks to be fermented.

2023

Pago del Vicario Petit Verdot Rosado 2023 is a rosé wine with intense aromas that fill the nose with notes of blackberries, menthol, liquorice, blue flowers, rockrose, cream, and pepper. 2019

Pago del Vicario Petit Verdot Rosado 2019 is an intricate rosé wine, boasting scents of red fruit, hints of blue florals, and a spiced undertone. On the palate, it is rich, vibrant, and exhibits a balsamic quality. This indulgent wine tantalizes with sweet sensations.

2015 Boasting a robust opening, it is both zesty and fruit-laden. It exhibits a remarkable equilibrium.

Raspberry hues tinged with a violet undertone.

Floral notes intermingled with red fruit aromas. Expressive herbal nuances.
2014

The flavour is fresh, lively and burly. There are strong fruity flavours of strawberry, cherry and orange peel.



Raspberry pink with slightly violet edges, very bright and silky.



The nose is fresh and intense. Aromas of strawberries and cream, raspberry mousse, red berries, cherries, candy and sweets appear. You can also appreciate violets, minerals, talc, roses and red pepper.
2013 Fresh, lively, greasy and pretty bulky wine with a long mid-palate. Fruity character with a flavour of strawberry chewing gum, crystallised cherry and orange zest.

Very lively pink raspberry colour with a slightly violet edge. Very bright and glyceride.

Fresh and intense very sweet wine with touches of strawberry with cream, raspberry mousse, red fruits of the forest, cherry caramel and sweeties. Aromas of violets, rockrose, rose talc, and pink peppercorns. Balsamic notes of eucalyptus and aniseed-flavoured hints.
2011 Very nice palate with a great intensity and a good acidity that perfectly compensates its alcohol (15°). Marked notes of very tasty and mellow fruit, full of freshness. Light and bulky mid palate with a nice finish and a slight bitterness that leaves final menthol sensations.

Very bright and deep cherry colour with salmon reflections. Medium robe and dense, glyceric tears.

Powerful, fresh and highly fruity. Its elegant balsamic and slightly spicy aromas stay in the background along with its amazing smoked notes while the expressive, intense and mellow notes of red fruits (cherries, raspberries and forest berries) take centre stage and evolve into sweets notes of jam. Once the wine opens up, some intense and very aromatic floral notes (outstanding violets) are also noticed. Very seductive set.
2010 A very different rosé wine. Full-bodied, structured and with a sweet, tasty and fresh mid palate. It is fruity. Its perfect acidity freshens the wine. Long finish. A very nice, fresh and easy-drinking wine.

Intense cherry colour with touches of raspberry. Very bright an glyceric.

Fresh, intense and sweet wine with abundant notes of berries jam along with elegant aromas of white flowers and very aromatic colourful flowers along with fresh balsamic hints (menthol and aniseed).
2009 Rosé wine with body, very nice and cool. Return the fruit that we found in the nose. Very sweet. It is easy to drink.

Ruby red, intense and bright.

Pleasant aromas of quality. Stresses much red fruit with floral (violet). Sweet memories.
2008 This wine is fresh, well structured, lively and with an excellent finish. It is easy to drink.
