Moteur Pistache 2023 is a fresh, wild, and vibrant rosé wine, astonishing from the first sip with its bouquet of juicy strawberries, raspberries, and a whisper of Mediterranean forest. On the palate, it unfolds light and lively, with notes of rosehip, hibiscus, aromatic herbs, and an earthy touch that piques curiosity and keeps the palate alert. Its freshness is direct and elegant, with a clean finish. A rosé that dares to defy expectations and transforms any moment into a small adventure.

About Moteur Pistache Rosé

Moteur Pistache Rosé is a rosé wine born from the collaboration between the winery 4 Kilos and Nacho "Pistacho" Martínez in Felanitx, Mallorca.

"We decided to embark on this project for enjoyment, exploration, and the crafting of a new wine within the Motor series that they have at the winery," remarks Nacho Martínez, responsible for wine selection at Decántalo.

This wine primarily originates from "la viña del Sergi," a vineyard nestled in a setting surrounded by Mediterranean forest and planted with the syrah variety, which has always possessed a special allure. In the winery, the grapes are destemmed and placed in a stainless steel tank where they macerate for a day alongside premsal blanc. Before racking, the grapes are foot-trodden to extract as much must as possible. The blend is completed with 20% saignée of callet viejo. The extracted must begins fermentation in a stainless steel tank and is transferred to a 500-litre barrel and another of 225-litre where it completes fermentation and matures for 9 months.

A rosé wine with a spicy and fruity profile, light and lingering, which will evolve favourably in the bottle over the coming years.
