About Marqués de Riscal Rosado

Marqués de Riscal Rosado is a rosé wine from the appellation of origin (D.O) Rioja produced by Marqués de Riscal. This winery is found in the town of El Ciego, in the south of La Rioja Alavesa.

Marqués de Riscal Rosado is made from Tempranillo (75%), Viura (15%), Malvasía (5%) and Garnacha Blanca (5%). The grapes originate from young vines of about 15 years old.

For production, the technique of bleeding or saignée is used, in which the husks are separated from the must to obtain a liquid without any solid residuals. Subsequently, the wine is fermented in stainless steel containers at a controlled temperature of 14-16ºC.

Marqués de Riscal Rosado 2023 exhibits a delicate pale pink hue. On the nose, it reveals vibrant aromas of strawberries and raspberries, accompanied by subtle floral notes. On the palate, it is distinguished by its freshness, glyceric texture, and impeccable balance, culminating in a long and refreshing finish with pleasant acidic sensations.
2022

Pale pink in color. Flavorsome and well-balanced. Marqués de Riscal Rosé 2022 is a vibrant and fresh rosé, full of nuances. The nose is powerful, with fruity aromas (strawberry, raspberry) and some floral notes. The palate is acidic with a full mouthfeel. Very pleasant finish. This wine is the result of a very rainy year, where the Ebro overflowed its banks (flooding the vineyards), and a winter with frosts that damaged some vines. This was offset by a hot, dry spring and summer (the second hottest in 31 years).
2021 Marqués de Riscal Rosado 2021 is a pale pink wine with delicate aromas of red fruits and white flowers on the nose. The palate is refreshing and juicy. A rosé wine with pleasant acid sensations that is well balanced and full of freshness.

Marqués de Riscal Rosado 2019 is a fruity rosé wine boasting pronounced aromas of fresh red berries complemented by floral undertones. On the palate, it is vibrant, glyceric, and well-balanced, offering enticingly crisp sensations.
2014 Fresh and unctuous. Passing to memories of red fruit and an acidic touch. Tannins are well integrated. Round finish.
