About Guillot-Broux Bourgogne Marisa

Guillot-Broux Bourgogne Marisa is a red wine coupage of the Pinot Noir and Gamay varieties made by Domaine Guillot-Broux in the A.O.C. Bourgogne in Burgundy, France.

Marisa is taken from a combination of the names Marie and Isabel, two young winemakers, one French and one American, who worked together at Domaine Guillot-Broux and had the opportunity to create their own cuvée, the Guillot-Broux Bourgogne Marisa wine.

Most of the clusters used to make this wine are Pinot Noir, complemented by Gamay grapes that come from vineyards lying on slopes with limestone and marl soils that are worked according to the principles of organic agriculture. The harvest is carried out manually.

When the grapes reach the winery, they undergo a short fermentation to enhance their full fruit expression. The wine rests briefly in stainless steel tanks before being bottled for sale.

Guillot-Broux Bourgogne Marisa is a pure expression of the variety and terroir. A very versatile, bright and young wine that is perfect for opening with friends and celebrating the joy of life.
