About Fino Tres Palmas

This Fino Tres Palmas is, although there are four members of the Fine Palmas collection, the last to be considered a fino, as Cuatro Palmas comes directly under the classification of amontillado.

After 10 years of aging under a flower veil, only the best vintages can keep live yeast after so long, this Fino Tres Palmas gives a real twist to wines undergoing this method of aging. A singular, intense and fine character, almost resembling the start of amontillado. Only 1,000 bottles, all vintage no. 32, amongst the 150 that make up this great wine.

2020 Fino Tres Palmas 2020 is an exceptionally concentrated fino, boasting intricate aromas of stewed fruit, saline hints, and nuances of dried nuts. On the palate, it is full-bodied, flavorful, and velvety. A magnificently dry and harmonious fortified wine with a lingering, intensely mineral finish.
2017 El Fino Tres Palmas is a fortified wine influenced by the natural death of the yeast cap, which, when decomposed, brings characteristics to this Fino that make it more like an Amontillado. On the nose it is highly intense with persistent saline notes, accompanied by the presence of nuts like hazelnuts as well as vegetable nuances. On the palate it is less sharp than a young Fino. Powerful, complex and elegant. A persistent and full bodied Fino.
2014 The palate is powerful, harmonious, persistent and intense. A wine halfway between a fino and an amontillado.

Bright golden yellow with green hues.

High intensity nose. Presented as being very complex with a prominence of sharp notes, salt, spices.
