Château Larrivet Haut-Brion 2022 is a concentrated red wine with aromas of black and red fruits accompanied by violet flowers and hints of orange zest. On the palate, it is smooth, balanced, and elegant. A medium to full-bodied wine with silky tannins, a present acidity, and a very pleasant floral finish.

About Château Larrivet Haut-Brion

La Place de Bordeaux, the wine market par excellence in France, is known to be one of the main places for trading and distributing fine, high-quality wines, especially Bordeaux wines. One of its merchants, Ernest Laurent, works closely with wineries and wine producers, both in Bordeaux and in other wine regions, to acquire selected wines and offer them to his customers. But in addition to being a merchant, he also has his own winery Château Larrivet Haut-Brion. His dual perspective in the wine industry combines his expertise in buying and selling wines with his winemaking knowledge to create and offer unique and high-quality wines. This has lead to his wines becoming a benchmark in Bordeaux today.

The fruit of 61 hectares of vineyards with an average age of 30 years produces Château Larrivet Haut-Brion. The winery's eponymous wine is composed of cabernet sauvignon, merlot and cabernet franc grapes from soils that are gravelly deep down with a clay substrate on the surface. A wine integrated in the Pessac-Léognan AOC, whose berries are harvested by hand at the optimum moment of ripeness and its fermentation is carried out with native yeasts at a controlled temperature and with only one treading. The cabernets are then aged in new, slightly heated French oak barrels and the merlots in amphorae for 12 months.

The result is Château Larrivet Haut-Brion, the first wine from this winery located in the heart of the Pessac-Léognan appellation, which honours the great reputation of Bordeaux coupages in the prestigious Place de Bordeaux.

Château Larrivet Haut-Brion 2023 is a red wine with character and depth. On the nose, it reveals intense aromas of black fruits such as blackberries and plums, accompanied by a subtle hint of vanilla and sweet spices. On the palate, it is concentrated and well-structured, with firm tannins and a long, persistent finish. A wine that reflects its meticulous barrel aging, offering a rich and complex experience.
