About Honoro Vera Tempranillo Rioja

Honoro Vera Tempranillo Rioja is a red wine produced by Bodegas Rosario Vera in the D.O.Ca. Rioja.

Bodegas Rosario Vera is the new winery in La Rioja from the Grupo Juan Gil Bodegas Familiares. With several plots in Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa, acquired in 2016, Grupo Juan Gil has embarked on a long-planned project here, which came to fruition with the vinification of the first vintage of Bodegas Rosario Vera.

Honoro Vera Tempranillo Rioja is crafted from tempranillo grapes sourced from vineyards aged between 15 and 60 years, located in the municipality of Laguardia, on calcareous soils rich in clay.

Once the grapes are harvested, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks over 15 days, with temperature control (maximum 27°C). Ten percent of the wine undergoes ageing for less than a year in French oak barrels.
