About Hayman's London Dry Gin

Hayman's London Dry Gin is a classic gin distilled with an old family recipe that includes a blend of ten botanicals.

The botanicals are left to soak for a full day before distillation, to allow all the flavours to be released in the alcohol. The careful and constant balance of juniper, coriander, lemon and orange rind is vital in the creation of this traditional London Dry Gin.

The distillery is located 40 miles east of London. It uses a traditional, 450 litre copper still that was handcrafted by the Carl family company, which has been making stills since 1869.

The copper still is called "Marjorie" after the mother of Christopher, the current president of Hayman's. She was also the granddaughter of James Burrough, who was the creator of Beefeater gin. She was the one to introduce Christopher to the family business and to the world of gin. Marjorie died when Christopher was young, which is why he chose to name the still after her.
