About Win 0.0 Tempranillo

In 2019, Carlos Moro was the first to present the concept of alcohol-free wine to the European Commission. Behind him, supporting from the background, was his daughter Beatriz and an idea that had been circulating in her mind since 2004. Ultimately, they succeeded and created Win, the family's first wineries dedicated entirely to the production of alcohol-free wines. There, Win 0.0 Tempranillo is crafted, one of the most faithful and flavourful reds you can find.
 
The tempranillo grapes used to make this single-varietal wine come from the finest vineyards the family Moro owns in Ribera del Duero. In this regard, the production process for Win 0.0 Tempranillo is quite similar but varies in certain aspects, such as during the harvest, where only grapes that will offer lower alcohol content but higher aromatic intensity are selected. Thanks to this small detail, we ensure that after the dealcoholisation process, the result of Win 0.0 Tempranillo is as expected. It is worth noting that the alcohol removal is carried out exclusively with the best technical equipment using a rotating cone system at very low temperatures. Finally, Win 0.0 Tempranillo is left to rest for at least a year in wooden barrels until it is eventually bottled. During this time, Win 0.0 Tempranillo achieves a maturity and depth capable of challenging all expectations.
