About Williams & Humbert Cedro PX

When two pioneering Britons decided to invest in the essence of Jerez in 1877, they likely did not foresee that they were sowing the seeds of a story that continues to yield exquisite fruits today. Williams & Humbert, one of the most iconic houses in the Marco de Jerez, has masterfully woven a legacy over the centuries that combines artistry, patience, and a profound respect for tradition.
 
Since its inception, Williams & Humbert has been synonymous with excellence in the production of fortified wines, employing the historic Criaderas and Soleras system. Its impressive facilities, spanning over 50,000 square metres, not only safeguard 60,000 American oak casks but also centuries of expertise. Constructed in the mid-1970s, this winery, one of the largest in Europe, has been honoured with the National Architecture Award and declared an Andalusian Heritage Site. More than a century later, and thanks to the drive and dedication of the Medina family, the current proprietors, Williams & Humbert remains an indisputable benchmark in the world of fortified wines.
