About Taittinger Vintage

An haute couture suit is never improvised. Every thread, every seam, and every detail are meticulously considered to create a unique piece, tailored to the client's specifications. This is how Taittinger Vintage feels; an artisanal product where each exceptional harvest is transformed into a singular, refined, and memorable experience. It is something that does not rely solely on the winery; only when all conditions align does something truly unique come into existence.

Taittinger is one of the last great independent family-owned Maisons of Champagne, with a history dating back to 1734. Today, the house owns 288 hectares of vineyards and maintains its distinctive style, characterized by a high percentage of chardonnay, which imparts elegance and freshness to its creations.

Each vintage of Taittinger Vintage is crafted only when the harvest permits, ensuring that only the most perfect fruits contribute to the wine. The vinification process uses only the first pressing of the grapes, blending chardonnay from Grand Crus of the Côte des Blancs with pinot noir from Grand Crus of the Montagne de Reims and the Marne Valley. After blending, the champagne is aged for four years in the cellar, allowing the aromas and flavours to harmonise with finesse. As a final touch, a dosage of 9 g/l is added, ensuring balance without detracting from elegance.

Thus, tasting Taittinger Vintage is akin to donning a bespoke suit. Every bubble, every nuance, and every aroma are meticulously crafted to offer a sensation of luxury and artisanal perfection. A champagne for those who appreciate patience, precision, and sophistication, a wine that turns every toast into an unforgettable moment.
