Each bottle whispers the tale of Poggio Antico, an estate that since 1976 has committed to precision, authenticity, and minimalist winemaking, with absolute respect for the land and its secrets.

Poggio Antico seamlessly blends tradition with modernity: vines tended to individually, galestro soils (a clayey schist common in Tuscan terrains) that defy time, and an owner, Marcel van Poecke, who restores the soul to the wine without sacrificing sophistication. Everything here is designed to unveil the pure essence of the red grape sangiovese and to make it clear that greatness is achieved without artifice.

Poggio Antico Brunello di Montalcino Vigna I Poggi comes from vineyards that rise between 550 and 570 metres above sea level. This red wine is crafted from the separate vinification of 14 distinctly differentiated plots. It ferments in concrete tanks and undergoes ageing in Austrian oak. The final blend is perfected in concrete vats before bottling, resulting in a deep, concentrated, and finely structured red. On the nose and palate, the vineyard's natural elegance is discernible, with notes that combine intensity, finesse, and a character that invites exploration with each sip, making it clear that this is no ordinary Brunello.
