Federico Forsoni began by cultivating grains and raising livestock, while his passion for wine lay dormant. Today, Dora and Patrizia continue this heritage, nurturing native vines with utmost respect for the natural cycle, committing to environmentally-friendly processes and techniques that honour the Italian winemaking tradition. Poderi Sanguineto Rosso di Montepulciano is crafted from sangiovese grapes (known as prugnolo gentile in Montepulciano), canaiolo nero and mammolo, hand-harvested from vineyards with excellent sun exposure. Its natural fermentation and maturation in Slavonian and Allier oak barrels for two years result in a red wine with intense aromas, where the fruit unfolds with strength and elegance, leaving a lingering impression that captivates from the first sip.
