About Marmellans Blanc

Marmellans Blanc is a white wine from Montsant produced by Celler de Capçanes. The winery is a cooperative of the union of several families from Capçanes in 1933.

Celler de Capçanes is located within the Priorat, in the province of Tarragona. Marmellans Blanc is a young wine made of 60% Grenache and 40% Macabeo. The grapes come from old vines planted 40 years ago at an altitude of between 150 and 450m.

To prepare Marmellans Blanc, the must is fermented at 20 ° C in stainless steel tanks and remains for four months on its lees.
