About Kolonne Null Rose Edition Les Qoutre Tours

In 2018, when Philipp Rößle founded Kolonne Null, very few people believed in him. How could you make an alcohol-free wine? Even when he visited the vineyards, looking for the best wine (not all of them are suitable for this type of winemaking), many of the winemakers threw him out of their vineyards, without even listening to his ideas. Today that has changed, and Kolonne Null has become a benchmark in this type of wine. Everything he makes is worth trying. If you love rosé wines, we suggest you try Kolonne Null Rose Edition Les Quatre Tours.

Kolonne Null Rose Edition Les Quatre Tours is a rosé made in collaboration with the Les Quatres Tours cooperative in the Couteaux d'Aix-en-Provence region of Provence, France. Only the winegrowers here, who have specialised in the production of rosés since the 19th century, have been able to meet Philipp Rößle’s expectations. In fact, this is Kolonne Null’s main objective: to produce alcohol-free wine that preserves the characteristics of each region, each variety and each winegrower. This philosophy involves a great deal of work both in the vineyard (only traditionally pressed wines and cuvées of the highest quality are used) and in the laboratory. At Kolonne Null, removing the alcohol is carried out through vacuum distillation, where the alcohol escapes at a temperature of 30ºC. Immediately afterwards, the natural aromas of the wine are recovered and a minimum amount of natural sugar is added (to replace some of the lost body and sweetness).

Despite the hostility of many purists, who believe that this type of drink cannot be considered wine, alcohol-free wines are here to stay. Little by little, they are gaining more prominence, making their way into the market. For various reasons, be it healthy living, pregnancy, religion or medical advice, more and more are being consumed. Don’t resist any longer and join this trend. We can promise you that Kolonne Null Rose Edition Les Quatre Tours will not disappoint.
