Joseph Drouhin Laforêt Bourgogne Chardonnay is a monovarietal Chardonnay white wine from the AOC Bourgogne produced by Joseph Drouhin.

With 78 hectares, Joseph Drouhin is one of the wineries with most vineyards in the region. It has vineyards in the various subzones of Burgundy: in Côte de Nuits, Chablis, Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise. It cultivates the two Burgundy varieties par excellence, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

The vineyards for Joseph Drouhin Laforêt Bourgogne Chardonnay have clayey and limestone soils and a planting density of about 10,000 plants per hectare. They are Guyot pruned and their average yield is approximately 67 hectolitres per hectare.

The Joseph Drouhin Laforêt Bourgogne Chardonnay harvest is pressed in a pneumatic press when it arrives in the winery and the must obtained is racked to leave it clean, and to ensure that the fermentation process proceeds in the desired manner. The final wine ages for 7 or 8 months in stainless steel tanks, and the one that comes from the best vineyards ages in barrels that are one or two years old so that the wine is not affected by the wood but gains in aromas.
