About Las Fincas de José Pariente

Las Fincas de José Pariente is a white wine from the DO Rueda produced by Bodegas José Pariente.

This is a single-variety (100%) Verdejo wine where the grapes come from old vines with a very low yield.

To make the wine, fermentation takes place in new and one year old French oak barrels from various coopers. Batonnage then takes place over approximately seven months, with the wine in permanent contact with its lees. José Pariente fermented in Barrica is then put into stainless steel tanks, where it remains for five more months. Finally, it is bottled following clarification and stabilisation.

José Pariente Fermentado en Barrica 2022 captivates us with its harmonious balance between vivacity and intricacy. Olfactorily, it welcomes us with a spectrum of spices and a balsamic hint reminiscent of anise and eucalyptus, accompanied by subtle smoky undertones. On the palate, it is creamy and moderately full-bodied, unfolding flavors that conjure up images of ripe stone fruits such as peaches and nectarines. Its finish is crisp and enduring, leaving behind a sophisticated and delightful impression.

José Pariente Fermentado en Barrica 2019 is a luscious white wine exuding potent aromas of white fruit, balsamic undertones, and smoky hints. On the palate, it is full-bodied, rich, and sophisticated. This wine boasts a well-balanced acidity, a prolonged and vibrant mouthfeel, and a mineral-infused finish.
2017 José Pariente fermentado en Barrica 2017 is a creamy white wine with aromas of very ripe white and tropical fruits and fresh mineral notes. On the palate it is unctuous, deep and complex with a retronasal of apple sauce and a persistent finish.
2013 Very elegant. It is powerful and spacious, with good acidity. High balanced, wood and fruity touches are noted.

Clean and sparkling golden yellow.

Intense and complex. Spice and ripe fruit notes together with a touch of wood.
2012 Plenty of volume on the palate. The wine is unctuous and very elegant. Powerful, with a good acidity that gives it a long and lively mid-palate. A great balance of fruit and wood. Sensations from the nose also appear on the palate.

Bright golden yellow.

An intense, complex nose with spiced aromas, ripe fruit, smoked notes and a light touch of wood. Exotic fruit and mineral notes also appear.
2009 Very tasty and fresh wine, with a good attack. Long, oily, unctuous mid palate, with notes of ripe fruit mixed with smoked and toasted aromas and intense notes of nuts. It is perfectly harmonious and well balanced. Wine with an excellent acidity and a lingering finish.

Intense straw yellow colour with golden edges. Very bright and clean.

Its intense and marked varietal aromas are accompanied by the complexity provided by the wood during the ageing on its lees. Lots of notes of ripe fruit are noticed along with roasted notes, nuts, creamy spices and subtle touches of citrus and herbs.
2007 Flavor is tasty, balanced with its insinuating touches of time in oak. With memories final fruit.

Memories smoky, toasted and vanilla aromas with ripe fruit. Some notes of exotic fruits and minerals.
