Zalto Axium is a decanter made by the Zalto house that is perfect for serving white and red wines that have spent a long time in the bottle.

An Austrian company with more than two centuries of perfecting the techniques of Venetian glass blowing, since 2006 Zalto has been making and selling a collection of glasses and decanters designed to present wines at their best when it comes to drinking them. This is a full range designed with professional advice from Hans Denk, an Austrian priest with great oenological knowledge who is inspired by the effects of the Earth’s tilt to create each of the items.

If there is something Zalto stands out for, it is their use of lead-free crystal in every product. This material gives an elegant, long-lasting and extraordinarily thin feel to the decanter as well as being completely safe. Although wine only spends a short time in the glass, it tends to stay in the decanter for a longer period of time, which means it is important that the material does not contain lead. The Zalto Axium is an example of this design and quality. A decanter with a height of 204 mm and a 1,450 ml capacity, it is perfect for getting the best out of red wines as well as powerful and fruity whites.
