About Còsmic Confiança

Còsmic Confiança is a white wine produced in Emporda by Còsmic Vinyaters in Agullana, Girona.

Salvador Batlle founded this winery with the philosophy of preserving the environment, respecting earth´s strengths and minimising human intervention in wine production. It is a viticulture based on biodynamic principles. 

The project is carried out in two very different areas, one in the Bajo Penedés with well-adapted foreign varieties like Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Franc and the other where this wine is produced, in the Alto Emporda area which adjoins the French border.

Confiança is made with Garnacha roja, which comes from vine branches planted in sandy-limestone land and over 60 years old. It ferments in amphoras with its own yeast and is aged in containers with its own thin lees for 2 months.
