About Coca i Fitó D'Or

There are things that only time can set right. Like the story of Toni and Miquel Coca i Fitó, two brothers who followed different paths until they joined forces in 2006 to create a shared winemaking project. The younger brother, Miquel, has always admired the knowledge of the elder; the elder, Toni, continues to feel proud of the younger's creative vision. Two ways of understanding the world that found a common language in wine.
 
Born into a family of farmers in Alt Penedès, Toni and Miquel have taken this synergy to Terra Alta (Tarragona, Spain), where they work with old vines and vineyard parcels capable of expressing the character of each grape. Coca i Fitó D'Or is born from this very philosophy: listening to what the land offers and allowing each wine to find its own voice, without needing to resemble any other.
 
White Grenache and Macabeo come together here in a white wine with ageing, crafted in French oak barrels and concrete eggs. Initially, white flowers and fresh fruit emerge; then, with time and air, peach, apricot, quince, and delicate spicy nuances appear. It has volume and creaminess, yet retains a freshness that extends the length and encourages discovery of how it evolves in the glass.
