About Château l'Evangile Blason de l'Evangile

Can't contain your eagerness? Incapable of abiding by the requisite aging period demanded by a fine Bordeaux wine? Fret not! We present the perfect solution to quench your thirst. Indulge in one of the finest reds with Château l'Evangile Blason de l'Evangile

Château l'Evangile Blason de l'Evangile is the younger sibling of Château l'Evangile, the second label of this esteemed estate established in the 18th century. It was in the year 1741 that the Léglise family breathed life into this property in the southeast of the A.O.C. Pomerol. At that time, the land registry documented the estate under the name of Fazilleau. Although its names and owners have evolved over the centuries, its essence has remained steadfast, triumphing over time and adversity. This unique character stems from its vineyards, situated together on an extensive gravel seam, interspersed with sand and clay across its 22 hectares and 43 plots. Most of these plots are covered with grass, promoting biodiversity and experimenting with new cultivation methods to combat climate change. Thanks to these practices, ranging from organic to biodynamic experiments, one can discern the mineral character that so distinctly defines Château l'Evangile Blason de l'Evangile. This particularity is a result of the iron oxide present in the subsoil of the region.

In the winery, meticulous attention is given to the vinification process. Generally, Château l'Evangile Blason de l'Evangile undergoes a considerably shorter maturation period than the estate's premier wine, allowing it to be savored much sooner. As for the rest, everything else remains consistent with the other vintages.

So, give in to your cravings and when you can't resist any longer, pour yourself a glass of Château l'Evangile Blason de l'Evangile. You won't regret it!
