About Celler Sanromà El Nexe Blanc

In class, he did not stand out. In fact, as he himself admits, he was at the bottom of the class. Until he finished secondary school and his mother, with wise intuition, suggested he pursue a vocational course in oenology.

That was when everything changed.

While many were discovering the world of wine for the first time, Eduard Sanromà already had it in his blood. He had grown up among vines, harvests, and winery conversations. What was theory for others was memory for him. And in that environment, he went from being the last... to being the first.

Determined to go further, he enrolled in an advanced course in Sant Sadurní (Catalonia), and there began the formation of what is today a small revolution with deep roots: Celler Sanromà. A family project stemming from four generations of vintners in Vila-rodona, who until then had sold their grapes in bulk. But the time came to bottle the landscape. To capture the "terroir" in liquid form.

An example of its essence is Celler Sanromà El Nexe Blanc, an organic macabeo that ferments spontaneously with native yeasts, unfiltered, unclarified, and without added sulphites. Thus, much more than a label; this wine is the authentic expression of the land, the grape, and the artisanal craftsmanship that defines Celler Sanromà. Without artifices or shortcuts, it reflects the patience, dedication, and respect for the environment that Eduard and his family have instilled in every bottle. A true expertise that has positioned him as one of the great promises of Catalan natural wine. Indeed, when you follow your roots, destiny gives you the upper hand.
