About Bozeto de Exopto Rosado

Boceto de Exopto Rosado is a rosé wine from the D.O. La Rioja, crafted by the winery Exopto. This wine is a blend of Garnacha (50%) and Tempranillo (50%) grape varieties.

The grapes for Boceto de Exopto Rosado are sourced from old vineyards aged between 30 and 50 years. The predominant soil type is clay and limestone.

The harvest, conducted between September and October, is carried out using 12-kilogram capacity boxes. This method is employed to prevent the grapes of Boceto de Exopto Rosado from breaking and fermenting prematurely.

Meticulous selection processes are undertaken both in the vineyard and at the winery.

The grapes undergo direct pressing followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a constant, controlled temperature of 15ºC.

Boceto de Exopto Rosado is aged for six months in stainless steel tanks on its own lees.

Exopto means, in Latin, "to desire strongly, to hope with great anticipation". It encapsulates the ethos with which the entire winery team operates.

The winery was established in 2003 by Tom Puyauber in the town of Laguardia.

2014 Fruity and fresh. Medium bodied, very sweet.

Pale salmon pink.

Notes of peach, citrus accents and aromas of rose.
