Bernardo Estévez Chánselus Planeta is one of those wines that seems to emerge from a hidden corner of Galicia: a hidden treasure in ancient vineyards where the earth, the stars, and the patience of a pioneering vintner converge to create a natural red wine with its own distinct character. Each bottle is a small discovery, a liquid gem that captivates from the first glance.

Bernardo Estévez has turned his project, in the area of Arnoia (Galicia, Spain), into a benchmark for the new Galician wines, cultivating the vineyard with utmost respect for the environment and adhering to the philosophy of the purest natural agriculture, inspired by the work of Masanobu Fukuoka. His dedication to reviving forgotten indigenous varieties and his commitment to the land reflect a dedication that transcends the winery: here, every action in the vineyard has a purpose, and every cluster tells its own story.

Crafted from a blend of up to 10 local varieties such as: brancellao, sousón, caiño da terra, carabuñeira or trincadeira, sourced from vineyards up to 100 years old, the production of Bernardo Estévez Chánselus Planeta begins with the traditional foot treading of grapes to ferment with native yeasts in 500 and 600-litre barrels and matures for about nine months in French oak before resting in stainless steel tanks. Without added sulphites and with an impeccable balance between ripeness and acidity, it is a red wine that combines structure, complexity, freshness, and an absolute respect for the vineyard.

Chánselus Planeta unfolds a spectrum of ripe black fruits, herbal notes, and a mineral background reminiscent of the granitic Galician soil. Its sip is enveloping, elegant, and evocative, ideal for accompanying light game dishes, seasonal stews, aged cheeses, or simply to discover a moment of calm and delight, recognising in each sip the essence of Galicia and the passion and care that define Bernardo Estévez.
