About A Torna dos Pasas

A Torna Dos Pasas is a red wine produced by Luis Anxo Rodríguez in Arnoia, in the D.O. Ribeiro.

In 1988, Luis Anxo Rodríguez created a small winery full of family tradition in "Os Pasás", Paixón, municipality of Arnoia. It has 2.7 hectares of vineyards, distributed in 29 plots. His ambition is to work with local varieties, recover the sandy siliceous soils of the sloping terrains and carry out a winegrowing process that is low yield, manual and environmentally friendly.

A Torna Dos Pasas comes from old vine areas that were repurposed with local varieties, some of which are almost extinct.

This wine is made from Brancellao, Caíño and Ferrol. Manual harvest, destemmed and cold maceration. Fermentation is carried out with local yeasts in stainless steel deposits. It is left to age in used oak barrels for 6 months.

A Torna Dos Pasas is a fresh, delicate, inviting wine. Very complex to the nose and on the palate. It stands out for its balance between fresh red fruits, balsamic notes and a mineral background.
