About Les Argiles d'Orto Blanc

Les Argiles d'Orto Blanc is a white wine from the D.O Monstant produced by Orto Vins. This wine is a blend of two different grapes varieties: Macabeo (93%) and Garnacha Blanca (7%).

The grapes used for Les Argiles d'Orto Blanc come from two different estates owned by the vineyard, located near the town of El Masroig. The vineyards are aged between 25 and 70 years old, are cultivated organically and are situated 250 metres above sea level.

The various phases of the winemaking process are carried out using traditional techniques, drawing on the vast experience of the wineries team. During the final stages of production, the wine is aged for eight months on its lees in stainless steel tanks.

Only 3,000 bottles of Les Argiles d'Orto Blanc is produced every vintage. This is an affordable wine that hides an intensity and density worthy of being discovered.

Orto Vins is a young winery, founded in 2008, and is situated in the town of El Masroig. Founded and lead by four partners who have decades of experience in the world of wine. One of the founders, Joan Asens, not only has collaborated with Álvaro Palacios, but is also currently working with Alfredo Arribas on his latest project.
