Brandy Carlos I has its origins in 1889, when a sherry winemaker found some forgotten barrels in a hidden corner of the cellar. Without knowing its origin, when tasting them, he realizes that it is the best brandy he has ever tasted before, a brandy with which he knows that the winery will conquer the country. The world, just as the great Spanish emperor Carlos I did. A true symbol of greatness that commemorates the 400th anniversary of the death of the king and that is reinforced by the image he painted. Afterwards, a careful assembly of the different holandas is carried out and aging in American oak boots previously soaked with Sherry wines, following the traditional Criaderas and Soleras aging system for more than 15 years.
