About Bicicletas y Peces Chardonnay

Bicicletas y Peces Chardonnayis a white wine from D.O. Somontano, produced by the winery Family Owned Wineries.

 

Family Owned Wineries is a project that was born in 2013 thanks to 2 families with a long winemaking tradition. On the one hand, the team of oenologists from Celler Tianna Negre, in Binissalem-Mallorca, and on the other, Bodegas Juan Gil, in Jumilla (Murcia).

Family Owned Wineries makes wines from different denominations of origin in Spain, with the local varieties of each area, to make wines that are loyal and representative of each region.

 

Bicicletas y Peces Chardonnay is a white wine made from Chardonnay, from the best vineyards of the area.

Harvesting is carried out manually, selecting the grapes in the vineyard. Once the grapes have been destemmed and pressed, they go through alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel deposits at a controlled temperature. After the fermentation, the wine is left to stand for a few months in the bottle before it is launched on to the market.

 

Bicicletas y Peces Chardonnay is a light, fresh and aromatic wine. A great representation of the young wines produced in the area of the Somontano with this variety.
