Les Héritiers du Comte Lafon Mâcon-Prisse is a biodynamic white wine produced by Les Héritiers du Comte Lafon in the French denomination of AOC Mâcon-Prisse (Burgundy) with the Chardonnay variety.
 
 
Known worldwide for the high quality Chardonnays he produces at Meursault, Dominique Lafon saw the potential of a little-known Mâçon area and founded the Les Héritiers du Comte Lafon winery in 1999. He now has 21 hectares spread across the areas of Milly-Lamartine, Bussière, Chardonnay, Uchizy and Viré-clessé and he works to make wines with purity, length and maximum expression of the terroir.
 
 
Les Héritiers du Comte Lafon Mâcon-Prisse comes from one of the most famous vineyards in the region that are worked according to biodynamic principles. Respect for the vineyard and the environment is essential and all treatments are organic and ecological. The harvest is carried out manually at the optimum point of ripeness. 
 
 
True to the Mâcon style, the Les Héritiers du Comte Lafon Mâcon-Prisse must ferments spontaneously with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks. Then, with the aim of minimising the influence of wood, aging takes place in large 600-litre fudres, vats and demi-muids.
 
 
A perfect expression of the variety, the Les Héritiers du Comte Lafon Mâcon-Prisse white wine is a great introduction to the Mâçon wine region. A white with a very acidic entrance and a deliciously fruity finish. 
 
2018 Les Héritiers du Comte Lafon Mâcon-Prisse 2018 is a white wine with fragrant aromas of white fruit and citrus, floral notes and a delicately spicy background. On the palate it is intense, fresh and elegant. A flavoursome wine with marked acidity and a fruity and somewhat compote finish.
