Ximénez-Spínola Exceptional Harvest is a white wine from Jerez produced by the winery Ximénez Spínola. This is a monovarietal of Pedro Ximénez.

The harvest of the grapes used to make Ximénez-Spínola Exceptional Harvest are used a few weeks after the harvest of the grapes used for their emblematic wine Ximénez-Spínola PX Añada. This means that the grapes are even more matured.

Once in the winery, the must of Ximénez-Spínola Exceptional Harvest is fermented in stainless steel containers with its husks.

After, it is transferred to American oak casks and left to create the typical fragrance of Jerez.

Finally, Ximénez-Spínola Exceptional harvest is aged for 4 months on its own lees and receives daily battonages.

The winery Ximénez-Spínola established in 1729 by Felipe Antonio Zarzana Spínola.

Ximénez Spínola, headed up by José Antonio Zarzana, is still predominantly a family business. Its speciality: Working only with Pedro Ximénez grapes.

Ximénez-Spínola Exceptional Harvest 2023 exhibits an intense, clean, and brilliant golden hue, with an unusual density for white wines. On the nose, it stands out with aromas of figs, raisins, and plums, complemented by pastry notes. On the palate, it is both light and intense, with a subtly unctuous texture that balances acidity and sweetness, offering a prolonged and creamy aftertaste where the wood does not interfere.                      
2014 Good acidity and sweetness, and presents a dry long finish. Full bodied.

Golden yellow with steel hues.

Notes of honey, touch of apricot and tones of apples.
2011 A Spanish wine with a slightly sweet attack and but a good dry, smooth and creamy mid palate. It is well bodied and shows an excellent acidity and a long finish. A very special, elegant and original wine with a very limited production. Perfect when served along with a plate of Spanish Iberian ham.

Bright, golden yellow colour with plenty of thin tears.

A wine with a remarkable intensity. Its fruity notes with hints of baked apples stand out along with the aromas of candied nuts, toffee, vanilla and varnish. A singular, complex and enjoyable wine.
