About Refugallo Blanco

Francisco Javier Dominguez, brother of prestigious fashion designer Adolfo Dominguez who came up with the slogan “wrinkles are beautiful”, is not just a man of the clothing industry. His desire to recover the purest winemaking tradition in his homeland, the Ribeira Sacra, gave the Domínguez family the determination to invest in one of the most emblematic landscapes of the area; the valleys of the river Bibei, in Orense (Galicia). In the early days of the Dominio do Bibei project, there was no expense spared. Not only did they build a winery integrated into the landscape across a staggered layout, but they also surrounded themselves with a great team, including the famous Priorat pair, Sara Peréz (Mas Martinet) and René Barbier (Clos Mogador).  

As an example, Refugallo Blanco is a coupage of the Godello, Albariño and Doña Blanca native varieties made in the Ribeira Sacra Denomination of Origin and aged for 20 months in used oak barrels. A fresh and fruity crianza white wine that, as well as distilling the character of the Atlantic terroir, is amazing value for money. A wine that, like the Domínguez clothing, is made with elegance, good taste and for everyone.

 

2022
