Within the Controlled and Guaranteed Denomination of Origin DOC Prosecco Treviso, lie the vineyards that yield the grapes for their flagship sparkling wine, Follador Prosecco. This prosecco is crafted from the indigenous glera variety, planted in clayey-calcareous soil and cultivated using time-honored methods. Upon arrival at the winery, the finest grapes undergo a cold maceration for 12-18 hours, and the juice is transformed into sparkling wine following the Charmat method, with a secondary fermentation in autoclaves lasting about 30 days at a controlled temperature of 16 to 18 °C.

While it is true that the Follador family treasures more than two centuries of viticultural tradition in the Italian Veneto region, it is equally accurate that under Gianfranco's guidance, the winery has embraced modernity to create wines of exceptional quality. So much so that Follador Prosecco has even been appointed the official Prosecco of the National Gallery in London.
