About Raíces Garnacha Blanca
As tradition has it, "He who attends a funeral and abstains from wine, his own shall soon be on the line." We have no desire to be harbingers of doom (heaven forbid); nonetheless, should you wish to adhere to tradition (we wouldn't want to tempt fate), allow us to suggest an exceptional choice: Raíces Garnacha Blanca.
A single-varietal white wine, made from Garnacha Blanca, and aged on lees for about 60 days, these are the defining characteristics that render Raíces Garnacha Blanca a distinctive wine. Indeed, its very provenance is quite unique. Raíces Garnacha Blanca is part of an initiative in which the wineries Raíces Ibéricas strive to honor indigenous grape varieties and the diverse wine-producing regions of Spain. This initiative, launched in 2021, with an investment of approximately five million euros, encompasses areas such as the D.O. Terra Alta, where Raíces Garnacha Blanca is crafted.
Specifically, Garnacha Blanca is a Spanish white grape variety, a mutation of the red Garnacha, grown in areas like the French Eastern Pyrenees, Tarragona, Zaragoza, and Teruel. The quality of this grape is well-known in these regions, though it is yet to achieve such recognition abroad, a challenge that Raíces Ibéricas is actively undertaking. Here, the vineyards are cultivated on expansive terraces, buttressed by stone walls, arrayed in a tiered balcony-like fashion.
Be that as it may, wine invariably finds its place — even in the most solemn of moments. To never miss the mark and always make the right choice, opt for Raíces Garnacha Blanca. It will not disappoint!

2018 | Raíces Garnacha Blanca 2018 is a sumptuously creamy, sophisticated white wine with a dominant citrus profile, particularly nectarine nuances. On the palate, it is velvety with a medium body, culminating in a deliciously lingering aftertaste. An endlessly exquisite experience. |
