About Kreydenweiss Ka Rouge
Kreydenweiss Ka Rouge is a biodynamic Syrah variety red wine produced by Kreydenweiss in the AOC Costières de Nîmes.
Kreydenweiss is the name of a family based in Alsace with 300 years of winemaking history. However, in 1999, attracted by the AOC Costières de Nîmes red wines, they acquired a farm with 12 hectares of vineyards with the Cariñena, Syrah, Garnacha and Mourvèdre varieties. Their aim is to make wines with personality that reflect the soul of each soil through biodynamic agriculture.
Kreydenweiss Ka Rouge comes from centuries-old vineyards planted in pebble soils that are cultivated using certified biodynamic viticulture. Once the grape reaches optimum ripeness, it is harvested manually and classified.
The grape is taken to the winery to be made into wine. The wine is made in the most natural way, respecting its balance. Kreydenweiss Ka Rouge ages for 16 months in barrels.
Kreydenweiss Ka Rouge 2013 is a red wine whose name Ka comes from the Egyptian term that describes someone who has conquered their ego. Mark Kreydenweiss was filled with pride when his son made this wine.

2013 | Kreydenweiss Ka Rouge 2013 is a mature red wine with a very refined nose that reveals ripe black fruit, and notes of violet, white pepper and incense. On the palate it is energetic, fresh and balanced. It has a very pleasant final tenacity. |
