Domaine Antoine Sanzay Saumur Champigny 2016 is a single-variety organic red wine made with Cabernet Franc from the AOC Saumur-Champigny in the Loire Valley. It is made by Domaine Antoine Sanzay.

Domaine Antoine Sanzay is a winery founded in 2002 by, and named after, Antoine Sanzay who has been improving his technique vintage after vintage, making the wines more and more refined. The vineyard has 11 hectares of vines that are ecologically cultivated.

The Domaine Antoine Sanzay Saumur-Champigny vines are about 35 years old and are grown using certified organic methods. They are planted in clay-calcareous soils and are harvested manually. In addition, the Loire River, which is close to the vineyard, helps prevent extreme temperatures and ensures that the grapes ripen evenly.

Once the clusters to be used for the Domaine Antoine Sanzay Saumur-Champigny reach the winery, they are destemmed, pressed and vatted. They ferment in stainless steel tanks and the final wine is aged for 6 months in barrels of 4 or 5 wines. Finally, it is very lightly filtered before bottling.
