About Can Feixes Chardonnay

Can Feixes Chardonnay is a white wine from Penedès produced by Huguet de Can Feixes. It is a varietal Chardonnay.

The vines from which Can Feixes Chardonnay originate are at the Finca Can Feixes, located on the inner slopes of the region.

The process of winemaking and care of the vineyard are environmentally friendly, as certified by the seal of approval fromthe Catalan Council of Agricultural Production (CCPA).

The harvest is done manually and the grapes go through a double selection process in the vineyard and in the winery.

The grapes are pressed pneumatically, a manner of obtaining the first juice. This is clarified by static decanting and, once cleaned, is fermented in new French oak barrels.

Can Feixes Chardonnay finally ages for eight months on its lees in the barrels in which it is also fermented.

Huguet de Can Feixes is a family winery, dedicated to reviving crops that already existed. Their crops are treated in the most respectful way possible.

2017 Can Feixes Chardonnay 2017 is a creamy white wine, ample and fresh. This vintage shows ripe white fruit on the nose on a very elegant toasted background. In the mouth, it reveals volume with a long and persistent finish.
2011 It is tasty and fruity. Spicy notes and toast. It is balanced and has a long finish.

Nice bright golden colour.

It is powerful. Aromas of ripe fruit and notes of toasted nuts together with honey touches.
2006 Good attack, with a very fresh mid palate. Its notes of citrus are displayed on a nice background. Very good acidity and not a very persistant finish. A very nice white wine from Penedès.

Golden yellow colour with greenish reflections. Clean and bright.

Medium intensity aromas. Its notes of white fruit are released along with delicate toasted hints. Floral background with a buttery touch.
