About Admiral Rodney Extra Old Rum

One of the legendary parts of the American War of Independence was the Battle of the Saints. The leader, Admiral George Rodney, made use of the most intelligent strategies to gain a significant victory near the island of Los Santos, in the Caribbean. This triumph for the British was crucial as it undermined French support for the American rebels and weakened France’s naval capability in the region. In honour of this famous naval victory, Saint Lucia Distillers, the exclusive rum distillery on the Caribbean island of Saint Lucia, creates its super premium brand. A high quality rum name that has now earned the title of one of the best rums in the world.

As a result of one of the most deeply rooted rituals in the Caribbean islands, where sugar cane plantations are a regular feature, Admiral Rodney Extra Old Rum is presented within its premium range. A rum made using the oldest homemade tradition, from the finest quality sugar molasses created in the picturesque and agricultural Roseau Valley (St. Lucia).
