Rooster Rojo is a dark amber Añejo tequila with reddish highlights. On the nose, it exudes intense aromas of toasted oak, vanilla, chocolate, tobacco, and coffee, evoking curiosity and sophistication. On the palate, it presents a silky and complex profile, featuring caramel, roasted agave, dulce de leche, and a final hint of brown sugar, where the character of the agave remains steadfast while the barrel notes intertwine harmoniously. At the foot of the hill in Tequila (Jalisco, Mexico), a proud red rooster surveys the valley that gave birth to one of Mexico's most exceptional beverages. Rooster Rojo Añejo is not merely a tequila; it is the realisation of a dream, that of Arturo Fuentes Cortes, who sought to capture the essence of his land in every sip. From its inception, this tequila has aimed to narrate the story of Mexico through its most emblematic symbol: the red rooster, the king of roosters.
 
The distillery "Fábrica de Tequilas Finos," housed in a colonial building from 1923 in the city of Tequila, is the heart where tradition meets innovation. There, each piña of Blue Weber agave is cut and steam-cooked, fermented with the master distiller's secret yeast, and carefully distilled in stainless steel stills. Fábrica de Tequilas Finos is the first distillery to use silver to filter the water employed in crafting their tequilas, rendering it smoother. The dedication to detail and respect for familial heritage transform Rooster Rojo into a consistent and sublime tequila, true to its origin and legacy.
 
Tequila Rooster Rojo Añejo is matured for over a year in used bourbon barrels, achieving a perfect balance between richness and smoothness. Its aroma evokes cooked agave, vanilla, and a slight spiced hint, while on the palate it unfolds notes of caramel, wood, and smoky undertones that intertwine with a velvety texture.
