About Jaspi

Jaspi is a red wine from Montsant produced by the Coca i Fito cellar. This winery, founded in 2006, is located in Masroig (Tarragona).

Jaspi is made from the Garnacha (45%), Carignan (15%), Cabernet Sauvignon (25%) and Syrah (15%) varieties. The grapes come from vineyards between 10 and 90 years, of different properties and a composition of different terrains.

For growing, organic farming is used. The harvest is done manually in 15kg boxes.

Regarding its preparation, Jaspi i aged for 3 to 4 months in French and American oak.

2012 Powerful and fleshy entry. Velvety, sweet and intense pace. Good acidity with well integrated tannins. Lingering finish.

Intense and expressive cherry red.

Intensely aromatic, candied red fruit notes. Balsamic, minty and slightly spicy.
2011 Smooth tannins, good structure and a velvety texture. Penetrating notes of forest fruits. Persistent and intense.

Deep cherry colour.

Sweet notes of ripe black fruit and spices (aniseed).
2010 Bulky wine with a mediterranean character. Good acidity and soft tannins. Round and long finish.

Deep red colour.

Notes of ripe red fruit and candy and touches of balsam and spicy.
