Sweet wine "Criaderas y Soleras".

The palate is intense, round, balanced, smooth and silky. Slight sweetness with smoked and roasted touches. Almonds and white fruit. Long aftertaste.

A nice dark amber colour. Clean, bright and glyceric.

Intense nose. Notes of aging memories from the oak barrels and oxidation. Toasted caramel.

About Ximénez-Spínola Old Harvest

Ximenez-Spinola Old Harvest is an excellent sweet wine made by Ximenez-Spinola winery in Jerez. The Ximenez-Spinola Winery is a winery founded in 1729 that only makes wines from the Pedro Ximénez variety.

It is a family-owned winery, where the premium quality of its products overrides large volumes.

Ximenez-Spinola Old Harvest is a sweet wine made from mixing two vintages from Pedro Ximénez.

The solera 1918 is a wine with very high levels of dehydration. 1000 kg of fresh grapes are obtained with only 300 kg of raisins to produce 200 litres of wort.

1964 is a unique 100% Pedro Ximenez of oxidative aging.

Ximenez-Spinola Old Harvest is a blend of the two wines with a higher percentage of 1964, which dominates the wine but with the edges of polished oak.

A wonderful sweet wine, but surprisingly dry.
