About Les Tosses

Les Tosses is a red wine produced by Terroir al Límit winery in a small village called Torroja, within the Q.D.O. Priorat. This wine is made of Carignan grapes from 70 year old vines.

This wine is produced with a non-interventionist philosophy, in order to show the terroir (slate) in the most natural way possible They also use environmentally-friendly biodynamic vine-growing methods. This wine is aged for 24 months in French oak "foudres" (large wooden vats). It is not clarified or filtered. Very limited production. It is recommended decanting this wine before enjoying it.

2019

Les Tosses 2019 is a richly concentrated red wine, boasting a deep cherry hue. Delving into its bouquet, one is greeted by a sumptuous tapestry of opulent dark fruits interwoven with a profusion of smoky and spicy undertones. On the palate, following a robust opening, it unfolds into a profound and contemplative character, supported by a vibrant and taut acidity, and a formidable strength that pervades every sip through to the lingering finish.
2011 In the mouth, it is intense, powerful and well-structured. Direct tannins and very defined acidity. Endless finish. The most mineral expression of Carignan grapes.

Very intense cherry red colour with maroon edges. Abundant tears on the glass.

Wide range of aromas such as very ripe black and red fruit, which prevail along with notes of its ageing, hardwood, spices and powerful balsamic hints that freshens a very personal nose.
