About El Vínculo Crianza

El Vínculo Crianza is a red wine produced by the winery El Vínculo, in Campo de Criptana (Ciudad Real), within D.O. La Mancha. El Vínculo is one of the 4 wineries of Familia Fernández Rivera.

The winery El Vínculo is located in a typical building from La Mancha, converted into a modern winery in 1999.They have old Tempranillo vineyards, of the best sites in the area. Therefore, they can make outstanding wines with a limited production, thus becoming a great reference in this area.

El Vínculo Crianza is a red wine made with Tempranillo from vineyards located at around 700 metres of altitude on soils that are a mixture of clay and sand.

Once the grapes are harvested manually, they are taken to the winery and destemmed before they are transferred to stainless steel deposits. Here, they undergo the maceration and the alcoholic fermentation. After the fermentation, the wine spends 18 months in American oak barrels, and rests another 6 months in the bottle before going on the market.

El Vínculo Crianza 2019 is distinguished by its spiced character and a subtle maturity enveloped in a full-bodied fortified wine. When brought to the nose, it unfolds scents of blackberries and ripe plums, interwoven with hints of liquorice, vanilla, and a whisper of cocoa and sweet spices. On the palate, it is robust, with velvety tannins and a texture reminiscent of succulent fruit. Its passage through the mouth is pleasantly fruity and expansive, concluding with a prolonged finish that underscores its concentration.

El Vínculo Crianza 2016 is a powerful, intense and balanced wine. On the nose, aromas of ripe black fruit stand out, with smoked notes of tobacco and vanilla. In the mouth, it is robust, silky and very ample.
2010 Full-bodied and potent. Good density, the wine is fleshly with a medium-long finish.

Attractive cherry colour with garnet undertones. Full robe, and a beautiful dense tear.

Intense notes of black fruits with chocolatey undertones. Herbal reminiscences and lightly balsamic.
2009 Dense and meaty. Its body is very powerful. Medium-long aftertaste.

Cherry red with a garnet edge. High layer and dense tear.

High intensity. Notes of dark fruit and chocolate. Spicy and balsamic touches.
2008 In the mouth, it is intense and elegant. It has a great attack and a fine, polished and tasty mid-palate. It leaves a very pleasant tannic sensation, with firm, ripe and well-integrated tannins. Long and persistent finish.

Clean medium-high intensity nose in which we can perceive a great balance between the aromas of ripe red fruit and the typical aromas of the ageing, pleasant toasted hints and spiced touches.

2005 Good attack and very elegant in the mouth, fine, polished and tasty. Ripe and very well integrated tannins. A very long and persistent red wine.

Good intensity. Ripe red fruit stands out, surrounded with fine toasted notes and spices.
2004 Complex flavor, balanced in acidity, powerful, tasty and succulent. Rich and dense, clearly showing a mature and strong tones almost sweet oak flavors of cherry and dark berry liqueur. Ends with notes of dark chocolate.
